PRIVATE VOICE STUDIO
Lynne Leydier's private voice studio is a solid training ground for competition, exam, and performance work. Each student is provided with the necessary tools and resources for vocal training through technique, staging, and expansive repertoire in both classical and musical theatre genres.
Lynne specializes in individualized training programs that best cater to the unique goals of each student. Parents interested in a performance program for their child should inquire early for the 2023 Fall program as spots fill up quickly and is limited availability.
COURSE CREDITS & FORMAL TRAINING
Lynne teaches a classical program in accordance with the Royal Conservatory of Music, one of the largest internationally recognized music institutions based out of Toronto, Ontario. Students are eligible to receive high school credits through successfully taking and passing the RCM exams. For more information, please visit the official RCM accreditations page here.
She offers students with experienced guidance to expand the ability and knowledge of language within the classical and musical theatre worlds where the demands are vast. She is passionate about working with students on a one-on-one basis to fully nurture their individual talent enabling them to expand their technical ability and knowledge of repertoire. Her focus on preparatory work for musical exams, festival competitions, and performance skills enables each student to build their path for entrance into music schools, universities, and colleges of their choice.
Lynne Leydier is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), the largest organization of professional singing teachers in the world. This distinguished membership allows access of exclusive lifelong learning experiences such as workshops, intern programs, master classes, and conferences. She is also an active member of the British Columbia Registered Music Teacher's Association within the South Okanagan.
With access to invaluable resources such as costumes, a vast library of music in all genres, Lynne provides a bedrock of foundational training for each budding musical theatre performer. As an experienced accompanist with students competing at the Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and national levels in both classical and music theatre, Lynne is well-prepared to work with you in achieving your goals.

STUDIO HIGHLIGHTS
Job well done by Lynne's Classical Voice students who performed a tribute to Canadian Composer Ernst Schneider for his 80th birthday at the Canada Music Week Recital on November 22nd, 2019.
