Jamie Doll

My Story

Jamie Doll (Robinson) grew up in Penticton and found a passion for musical theatre at an early age. She started dancing at age 4, taking voice and acting training as a young teen, and performing in schools, camps, and local theatres, including Soundstage Productions, throughout her youth. She left to attend UVic's Theatre program, before moving to Vancouver and actively working in theatre, commercials, and film across Canada.

After falling in love with an Albertan, Jamie relocated and called Calgary home for the past 9 years. She worked at the prestigious Theatre Calgary in education, outreach, and the Learning and Engagement team, continued to be involved in direction, production, and performing with numerous theatres, as well as freelancing choreography to students for competition and performance.  It was Calgary Actors' Studio, however, where she honed her love of teaching, starting as a choreographer for SummerACT and then heading the musical theatre programs for students aged 10 - 18 for 6 years.

Jamie is thrilled to have recently moved back to the Okanagan and doing what she loves; inspiring young actors to communicate and elevate stories on stage with movement and dance.
